Ass Kissers, Cowards and Drama

For people that know us, know that long time ago, Jenn and I were perma banned from the WyldRyde IRC network for stupid reasons. At the time, the network was being run by an egotistical and controlling guy. He ran things the way he saw fit. This is where I had differences with this guy, thus, we got banned. Well, as time went on, we found other networks to chat on.

Just a few days ago, we noticed a tweet on Twitter talking about Geekshed IRC. Supposedly, the egotistical owner of WyldRyde sold the network to someone without the other network admins and server admins knowing. In return, the other admins and server admins seperated from WR and created their own IRC network. It's suppose to be better, friendlier, and more professional. So far, the network is actually what they said. Except the channel #chris, which is the IRC channel for Chris Pirillo. Nothing has changed in there. Still the same very strictness and insanity.

But first, let's talk about the ass kissers part. Well, let's see, Jenn was in a channel called #mouse talking to the owner, mouse. Then today, she noticed that she had been put on the akick list for #mouse. We had no reason as to why. She twittered about it and some other IRC chatter named Stuzilla started talking crap to her and me. It finally came down to us blocking Stuzilla on twitter and kicking him out of our IRC channel. Next thing I know is Kat, mouse's fiance, is pissed at Jenn and I for no apparent reason. I believe it was all a big misunderstanding and because of Stuzilla sticking his nose into business that wasn't his. One thing about Stuzilla is he is a young guy who loves to suck up and kiss ass when it's needed. He switches from band wagon to band wagon when it suits him. One day, he is trash talking people and then the next day, he is sucking up to the same people he trashed. And when he gets in trouble or needs help, he sucks up to the Ops/admin.

Another ass kisser is a chatter named GTPeach. Now, Jenn and I have had our rounds with her in the past. She is another type that likes to start trouble, then sits back and watches. Then when she gets in trouble or needs help, she sucks up to others. Let's take a look at a situation that happened not too long ago. GTPeach was in #chris and was excited about some sports game. She typed in all capital letters, which is not allowed in #chris. An Op named CCMike told her not to use all caps. She got mouthy and CCMike kicked her out of the channel. She didn't return to #chris for a day. Today, GTPeach came in and started talking. Now, in #chris, they have it set up that if a voiced(+v) user gets kicked, they lose their +v. After GTPeach came in, somehow, she magically got voice back. Ummmm..... Usually in #chris, the rule is that if a voiced user gets kicked, they loose their voice. In order for them to get voice back, they have to earn it back. This doesn't happen in 2 days. It seems that she either did some ass kissing to one of the Ops or there is favortism going on in #chris. I've seen honest people loose their voice in #chris before and it taking them weeks before they get +v back.

Cowards...let's talk about them. Stuzilla is a coward as he talks crap but can't take it. He hides behind the people who he ass kisses. Kat and her fiance mouse, they are cowards. I tried to solve the little situation we had, but they refused to speak to us. I was going to nicely talk it out with them. Hoping to get past all the drama. They cowardly blocked our communication or just plain ignored us.

In all, certain aspects of this new network are alright. Some aspects haven't changed at all though.
